Flake Epoxy Flooring: Decorative, Durable, Slip Resistant

Flake epoxy is the everyday workhorse of decorative floors. Vinyl flakes are broadcast into the wet coating, then locked under a clear topcoat, giving you texture, grip, and a speckled finish that hides wear and looks great for years. It's the most popular choice for South Florida garages, and it works just as well in a salon, patio, or workshop.

Why choose flake epoxy

  • Decorative, dozens of blends, from subtle stone tones to bold multi color
  • Grippy, the flake texture adds traction underfoot
  • Forgiving, hides minor slab imperfections and everyday wear
  • Durable, resists impact, abrasion, oil, and household chemicals
  • Low maintenance, seamless and non porous; dust mop and damp mop
  • Two coverage levels, single color (economical, still durable) or full broadcast (richest look)

Where it works

Homes: garages, patios, pool decks, laundry and utility rooms, entryways.

Business: hair and nail salons, barbershops, gyms and studios, workshops and service bays, retail back of house, light industrial floors.

For aircraft hangars, warehouses, and heavy industrial floors, see Commercial Flooring, same flake system, heavier build.

Design options

Choose the flake blend and size, the base color, the sheen, and the coverage level. Single color flake is the value option and still a proper professional floor; full broadcast gives maximum depth and consistency.

Maintenance

Dust mop as needed, damp mop with a mild cleaner, wipe spills. No sealing or waxing.
