Epoxy vs. polyaspartic, which should I choose in Florida?

Epoxy is a proven, rigid coating with a strong bond and a wide decorative range. Polyaspartic cures much faster and holds its color better in direct sun. Many of our floors use an epoxy base with a polyaspartic topcoat to get both. We recommend the mix that fits your space on the site visit.

I've seen ads claiming polyurea is far stronger than epoxy. Is that true?

Treat a flat strength claim from any company that only sells one system with some skepticism. Epoxy, polyaspartic, and polyurea are different chemistries with real tradeoffs in cure time, UV response, and working time, not a simple better-or-worse ranking. We install epoxy and polyaspartic, often together, and recommend the mix that fits your slab.
