Ten Questions to Ask Before You Hire a Garage Floor Coating Company
Most quotes sound the same on the phone. These questions are where they stop sounding the same.

The garage floor coating market is crowded, and not evenly
South Florida has a lot of garage floor coating companies, and the quality gap between them is wide even when the sales pitch sounds identical. Most sites advertise a free estimate, a fast install, and a warranty, and leave it at that. The questions below are where the real differences show up.
The ten questions
- Is the price based on an actual site visit, or a phone quote sight-unseen?
- Does the visit include a moisture check on the slab, not just a visual look at the surface?
- What's the warranty, specifically — what's covered, what voids it, and can I see it in writing?
- Who does the actual work — the same company I'm talking to, or a subcontracted crew?
- What happens if the concrete needs crack or joint repair — is that included, or a separate charge discovered later?
- How is the surface prepared before coating — is there a real mechanical prep step, or just a cleaning?
- What's the realistic timeline for my specific garage, not a generic timeline applied to every job?
- Can I see recent work in this area, not just a stock photo gallery?
- Is the estimate a fixed, written number, or does it come with vague qualifiers that leave room to change later?
- What does the company do if something goes wrong after the coating is installed?
How we answer these
We give fixed, written quotes after a free on-site visit that includes checking the slab, not a number over the phone. If the concrete needs repair, that gets discussed before the job starts, not discovered halfway through. Ask us any of the ten questions above directly, we'd rather answer them upfront than have you find out later.
